Kaplay Space Shooter Live

Welcome to the new coding series on Kaplay game engine.

Kaplay is the successor to Kaboom and is an open source project in heavy development by the community now that Replit has abandoned the project.

Kaplay is a great way to learn JavaScript and to make some fun games along the way. This simple space shooter similar to Galaga was created initially in about 2.5 hours and recreated in the tutorial stream in about 45 minutes.

Hopefully the game is fun to play and the tutorial on how to make it inspires you to give Kaplay a try for your next game jam.
